Troubleshooting for:
- Streaming to YouTube failed
To live stream to your YouTube account, you must have standard features and intermediate features enabled on your account.
To enable these features, follow the steps below.
Step by step
- Go to https://www.youtube.com/features.
Your YouTube account's Settings panel opens. - Under the Feature eligibility tab, follow the prompts to enable standard features and intermediate features.
The features are enabled when the label Enabled shows.
Additionally, in order to live stream to YouTube, you must also:
- Verify your channel. It can take 24 hours or more for YouTube to verify your account.
- Remove any live streaming restrictions on your account.
- Confirm that the YouTube account owner is the one connecting the account to Riverside. If you see the message No YouTube channels found, check whether the person trying to connect is the account owner.
- Note the additional requirements for live streaming from a mobile device.
