See the total number of people watching the live stream based on the channels it's broadcasting to. This is a great way to track the number of viewers in real time.

Step by step

  1. Join a studio session as the host or producer.
  2. Start your live stream.
    It can take around 10 seconds for the video to appear on the site(s) you're streaming to.
  3. At the top right corner of the studio, view the total audience count.
  4. In the side bar on the right, select Stream.
    Or, click the justheplus.svg Manage live stream in the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Next to the destination you are streaming to, view the number of people watching the live stream on that channel.
    • You cannot see the total number of viewers watching on channels that are connected to Riverside using RTMP.

Guest view

Guests can see the total number of participants and live stream viewers watching. However, hosts and producers can disable this.

On the right side of the studio, click people_users-03.svg people. At the top of the People panel, see the number of people recording in studio and the number of people viewing the live stream via external destinations.
