Once you set up your live stream connection, start the recording to stream your recording session live.

Step by step

Start a live stream from a computer
- Join a studio session as the host or producer.

In the side bar on the right, select
Stream.
Or, click theManage live stream in the top right corner of the screen.
- Check to see that your destinations are listed in the panel with a Connected label underneath.
- Check that your desired platform is visible in the live stream panel with a Connected label underneath it.
- If you need to, set up the connection.
- If you previously disabled your connection, click + Add destination, then under Enable, click the relevant platform to re-enable it.
- At the bottom of the studio, click Go live to start the live stream and recording.
It can take around 10 seconds for the video to appear on the sites you are live streaming to. - Once your stream has started, avoid making any changes to your setup or destinations.
- At the bottom of the studio, click Stop to stop the live stream and recording.

Start a live stream from a phone
- Make sure the live stream destination is already connected from a desktop browser.
- Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
- Join a studio session as the host.
- At the bottom of your screen, from the recording modes, swipe to choose Live.
- In the window, toggle on
live stream destinations you want to stream to.
- At the bottom of the studio, tap
the live stream icon to start the live stream and recording.
It can take around 10 seconds for the video to appear on the sites you are live streaming to. - At the bottom of the studio, tap
the stop button to stop the live stream and recording.
Good to know
- Live stream destinations cannot be added from a mobile device. They must be added from desktop.
- If there are no destination platforms connected on desktop, you cannot start a live stream on mobile.
