Live stream: Add title and description to your stream

Include a title, description, and other details in your Riverside live stream to social media.

Step by step

  1. Join a studio session as the host or producer.
  2. In the side bar on the right, select Stream.
    Or, click the justheplus.svg Manage live stream in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Check to see that your destinations are listed in the panel with a Connected label underneath.
  4. Next to the relevant destination, click the three dots icon.
  5. Click Edit details.
  6. Edit the title, description, and privacy setting.
    Please note that details that appear vary based on the social media platform. Additionally, always check with your destination platform to set privacy appropriately.
  7. Click Save.
    The details are saved for future sessions.

  • The steps above do not apply to LinkedIn streams. Since LinkedIn requires you to create an event in order to stream, you cannot change the title and description after the event is made.
  • When you live stream to the social media platform, the title and description are posted along with your live stream video. To make edits to the details, you must stop the live stream, make the changes, and then restart the stream.
  • You can also change the title and description of your live stream by editing the created event directly on your destination platform.
