Co-Creator automatically reviews your recording and adds comments suggesting segments to remove, like redundant takes, chatter, and technical discussions, so you can clean up your edit with a single click.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- When a new edit loads, Co-Creator automatically reviews it and adds suggestions as comments.
- On the transcript, AI suggestions are underlined and appear as
AI comment icons on the right side, aligned with the corresponding text.
- On the timeline, each suggestion appears as a purple Co-Creator marker icon above the relevant spot.

- Hover over a comment icon or timeline marker to preview the suggestion. Click it to open the full thread in the Comments panel.
- Each Co-Creator comment explains why the section is flagged. For each suggestion, you can:
- Click Apply to remove the highlighted section from your edit.
- Click Discard to keep the content as is.
Filter and sort Co-Creator comments
Use the filter icon to control which comments appear in the panel and how they're ordered.
- In the Comments panel, click the
filter icon.
- Under Sort, choose Timestamp, Newest, or Oldest.
- Under Type, choose which comments to show: Collaborators, Co-Creator, Marker, or Resolved.
Resolved threads are hidden until you select Resolved.
Reply to a Co-Creator comment
When you reply to a Co-Creator comment, your response is added as part of a comment thread, keeping all related discussions grouped together.
- Under the comment, click Reply.
- Type your reply in the text field.
- Click the
send icon to post your reply.
Delete a Co-Creator comment
Deleting a comment thread is immediate and permanent. Deleted threads cannot be recovered.
- In the Comments panel, click ••• [the three dots] in the top right corner of the relevant comment.
- Click Delete thread.
The thread is removed immediately from the transcript, timeline, and Comments panel.
Copy link to a Co-Creator comment
- In the Comments panel, click ••• [the three dots] in the top right corner of the relevant comment.
- Click Copy link to comment.
The link is copied to your clipboard.
Business users can copy and share a link to a specific comment to direct a team member to a particular point in the discussion and resolve feedback more efficiently.
Non-business users cannot invite others to collaborate directly within Riverside, but they can copy comments for note-taking, tracking progress, or future reference.
