Fix gaze for natural eye contact

Adjust a speaker’s gaze to make it appear as if they are looking directly at the camera, even when reading from a script or teleprompter, to maintain a natural and engaging delivery.

Fix gaze with eye contact

  • Apply eye contact per track

    1. Open a recording in the editor.
    2. From the editor toolbar, click Tracks
    3. On the track you want to edit, click the participant's name.
    4. Next to Eye contact, click the toggle toggle-on.svg to turn it on.
  • Apply eye contact across all tracks

    1. Open a recording in the editor.
    2. From the editor toolbar, click AI tools.
    3. Next to Eye contact, click Apply.
    4. To undo, click Revert to original

Icon.svg Good to know

  • Eye contact is supported only for tracks recorded on Riverside via a web browser. It cannot be applied to screen share tracks or external uploads.
  • Eye contact cannot be applied to a track that already has Enhance video applied.
