Tag your team in the editor

« to Riverside editor: Overview

Tag team members to streamline collaboration, give feedback, add reminders, assign tasks, or request clarification. When you tag someone, they receive an email with a link that takes them directly to the relevant comment in the editor.

Step by step 

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.

3. In the transcript, click between words.
   Or click and drag to highlight the text you want to comment on.
4. Click the Comment icon.
5. Type in your comment.

6. Type @, then start typing your team member’s name.

7. Select the correct person from the list.

8. Click Comment.

   The team member you tagged receives an email notification with a deep link that opens the editor to the exact comment.

Good to know

• You can only tag team members who are already assigned to the production associated with the edit.
• You can also tag yourself in a comment. You’ll receive the same notification email with a direct link.
