Control audience participation by preventing audience members from sending messages in public chat. When audience chat is disabled, hosts, producers, and guests can still post messages visible to the audience, and Q&A and Polls remain available for engagement.

Step by step
- Join a scheduled studio session as a host or producer
- From the studio sidebar, click Chat.
- Click Public chat.
- In the chat panel, click the
Settings icon.
- Next to Audience chat, click the
toggle to turn it off.
When the toggle is off, audience members cannot send messages in the public chat.
Good to know
- The setting is saved at the studio level and applies to all future webinars from that studio.
- The Audience chat toggle only affects audience members. Hosts, producers, and guests can still send messages in the public chat.
