Follow the best practices below for broadcasting your recording session to registrants in Riverside.
In advance of the webinar
- Ensure you send the correct webinar link to viewers, based on how you set up registration, either the pre-registration link or the direct session link.
- View and manage your registrants.
- Send your guests the checklists for recording on a computer or recording on a mobile device.
- Review Host Checklist and Tips: Recording on Computer.
- Brand your studio.
- Prepare pre-recorded content to broadcast to your viewers during the webinar.
Day of the webinar
- Adjust the Q&A settings.
- Adjust audience chat settings.
- If you'd like your webinar to include video, make sure to set the studio recording type to Video & Audio.
- Remind anyone joining as a producer that they cannot be seen and heard in the webinar, even if they turn on their camera and mic. However, those in the Riverside studio can hear and see them.
During the webinar
- Join the scheduled event to start the stream. You cannot start the webinar from the studio. You must join the webinar from the project page.
- Keep in mind that it takes around 30 seconds for the webinar broadcast to appear to viewers.
- Add audience member during a webinar.
- Manage audience Q&A during a live session.
- Conduct polls in the studio.
- Show or hide participants in the studio.
