Change your account's email address

You can change the email address associated with your Riverside account by following the steps below. 

Step by step

  1. On a computer, log into your account.
  2. In the bottom left corner, click settings.svg Settings.
  3. In the Profile tab, next to your account's current email, click the lock.svg lock icon.
  4. In the Verify it’s you pop-up, click OK.
  5. Check your email for a message from notifications@riverside.fm with the subject Verify it’s you.
    • Check your spam or junk folders if you do not see the email.
  6. Open the email and click It's me.
  7. On the new page, type your new email and click Enter. 
  8. Check your email for a message from notifications@riverside.fm with the subject Verify your new email address.
  9. Open the email and click Verify email address.
    Your email address is changed to the new email.

Alternative steps 

If you do not see the Verify it’s you pop-up, follow the steps below based on your account set-up. 

Member of multiple accounts 

  1. If you are a member of multiple accounts, ask the Account Owners of the accounts you are part of to remove you from their accounts.
  2. Once you are removed, follow the steps above under Step by step to verify your account and change your email.
  3. After your email is changed, ask the Account Owners to re-add you as an Editor or to a seat on a Business account with your preferred email.

Member of one account 

  1. If you are only a member of a single shared account (as an Editor on another account or a seat in a Business account), ask the Account Owner to:
    1. Remove you from their account.
    2. Re-add you as an Editor or to a seat on a Business account with your preferred email.

Account Owner of a Business Account 

  1. If you are the Account Owner on a Business Account, contact your Customer Success Manager to update your email address.

Social login SSO 

  1. If you have SSO login set-up through your social account (Google, Apple, or Spotify), disconnect the social login.
  2. Follow the steps above, under Step by step, to change your email.
