Open a recording in the editor

Use Riverside's robust editor to turn your recording into engaging content to share. Follow the steps below to begin editing your recording.

Step by step

Follow the steps below based on if you're using a computer or your mobile device.

  • Open a recording in the editor

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. From the top menu, click Recordings.
    5. Scroll to the relevant recording
    6. Under your selected recording click Edit 
       

    Open all recordings in the editor

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. From the top menu, click Recordings.
    5. In the top right, click Create.
    6. Click Edit to combine all the recordings within this project into the editor. 

    If you don't see the recordings you want included in the editor, you can either move a recording or upload an external media file into the current project.

  • Open a recording in the iOS mobile app

    1. Download and launch the Riverside iOS app.
    2. Tap the top left corner to open the studio side panel.
    3. Tap on the relevant studio.
      At the bottom of the screen, tap on the Home, Projects, or Clips tab to browse your recordings.
    4. Select the recording you want to edit.
      Or under Edits in the project page, tap one of your drafts to continue working on it.

       

  • Open a recording in the Android mobile app

    1. Download and launch the Riverside Android app.
    2. Tap the top left corner to open the studio side panel.
    3. Tap on the relevant studio.
      At the top of the screen, tap on the Recents or Projects tab to browse your recordings.
    4. Select the recording you want to edit.
      Or under Edits in the project page, tap one of your drafts to continue working on it.
    5. In the bottom right of the the screen, tap Edit.
