« To Video tracks layout and formatting in the editor: Overview
In the Riverside studio, you see your own video track mirrored by default so it looks more familiar to you, like your reflection. To mirror, or flip, a participant's video track in the editor, follow the steps below.

Step by step
We recommend using Smart layouts first to quickly and accurately apply scenes to your recording.
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- From the editor toolbar, click Tracks.
- Next to the track you want to flip click the
Arrow icon to open its settings.
- Next to Flip horizontal, click the
Flip icon.
The mirror effect applies to a participant's track across the entire timeline.
