Riverside's AI translation seamlessly converts your recordings into 30 languages, helping you to localize your content and expand your reach. It preserves speakers' voices while syncing their lip movements to the new audio track. The full transcript is also translated, allowing you to proofread the AI-generated text and make precise line-by-line edits.

Translate a recording
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- Select the relevant project.
- From the top menu, click Recordings.
- Scroll down to the recording you want to translate.
- Hover over the recording and click Translate.
- From the dropdown menu, choose the target language.
- Choose whether to sync the speakers' lips to the new audio track (optional).
- Click Translate.
Translate a Magic Episode
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- Select the relevant project.
- From the top menu, click Made for You.
- Hover over the clip and click Translate.
- From the dropdown menu, choose the target language.
- Choose whether to sync the speakers' lips to the new audio track (optional).
- Click Translate.
For best results, keep your face clearly visible and avoid covering your mouth with your hands, a microphone, or other objects.

AI Translation is supported for both Riverside recordings and external uploads, with different requirements:

Good to know
- The translation process takes approximately 20 minutes per minute of video. You receive an email notification once the translation is complete.
- Each beta account includes two hours of translation credits.
