Your media panel in the editor

Use the Your media panel to upload, find, and add your media while editing. All of your editing assets are available in one place.

Please note:
This feature is in beta and is being released gradually to Riverside users.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
  3. From the editor toolbar, click Your media.
  4. Use the options at the top of the panel to filter what is shown:

    • Select by Project to view recordings, edits, Magic Clips, Hooks, Magic Episodes, Magic Segments, and exports from a specific project.
    • Select Videos to view generated or uploaded video.
    • Select Images to view generated or uploaded images.
    • Select Audio to view uploaded audio files.

    You can also use the search bar to find specific media. 

Upload new media

The Your media panel is the only place in the editor to upload your own images, video, and audio.

  1. From the editor toolbar, click Your media.
  2. At the top of the panel, click Upload.
  3. In the file browser, pick an image, video, or audio file from your computer.
  4. Click Open.
  5. The file uploads to the Your media panel, where you can add it to your edit from the transcript or the timeline.

  • Media can be added to your edit from the transcript or directly from the timeline. For step by step instructions, see Add media or empty sections.
  • Uploaded or generated media from all projects in the studio is available in the Your media panel.
  • Stock images, videos, and audio are not available in the Your media panel.
