Step by step

Apply video touch-ups before entering the studio
- From your computer browser or MacOS desktop app, join a Riverside studio.
- On the lobby page, hover over your video tile in the video preview and click the
Visual effects icon.
- On the panel, click the Appearance tab.
- Toggle on the video touch-up options, including:

Touch up: Smooth your skin on camera
- Select Subtle or Smooth
- Face lighting: Improve lighting on your face

Studio lighting: Brighten or dim the lighting in your sene
- Drag the slider to adjust the light level

Touch up: Smooth your skin on camera
- Click the X to close Visual effects panel.
- Click Join studio and enter the recording session.

Apply video touch-ups in the studio
- From your computer browser or MacOS desktop app, join a Riverside studio.
- If a recording is in progress, stop it before continuing.
- Hover over your video tile and click the
Visual effects icon.
- On the panel, click the Appearance tab.
- Toggle on the video-touch up options, including:

Good to know
- Video touch-ups are not available while a recording is in progress.
