Create an on-demand webinar from an existing recording or edit so people can register and watch at any time.

Schedule and on-demand webinar

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Webinar.
  1. In the top right corner, click + New webinar.
  2. In the dropdown, click Create on-demand webinar.
  3. In the Choose file window, select the recording or edit you want to use, then click Continue.
    The on-demand webinar opens on the Landing page tab.
  4. Under Title, enter a title for the landing page.
  5. Under Description, enter a description. 
    Viewers see it below the video on the landing page.
  6. Under Hosted by, confirm or update the host name shown to viewers.
  7. Under Logo, upload a PNG or JPG image (minimum 400 × 400 px). 
  8. Next to Hide Riverside logo, toggle it on to remove the Riverside logo from the landing page.
  9. Click Update changes.
  10. Click Preview to see how the landing page appears to viewers.
  11. In the top left corner, click the Registration form tab to customize the registration fields viewers fill out before watching.
  12. Click Update changes.
  13. When you're ready, click Publish in the top right corner.

Share or embed your webinar

After publishing your on-demand webinar, share the link to the Riverside URL. Business accounts can embed it directly on your own website.

  1. In the page header, click Share.
  2. To share the webinar click Copy to copy the public URL.
  3. (Business accounts only) To embed the webinar on your own website, click the Embed tab, then click Copy code to copy a script-based snippet. 

Replace the video

You can replace the video on a draft or published on-demand webinar.

  1. Open the on-demand webinar you want to update.
  2. Go to the Landing page tab.
  3. Next to the current Video, click refresh-reload.svg Replace.
  4. In the Choose file window, select the recording or edit you want to use, then click Continue.
  5. Click Replace video to confirm.
    To keep the current video, click Keep current video.

  • The Edits tab in the Choose file window only shows edits you’ve exported.
  • Accounts on the Webinar plan can publish up to 5 on-demand webinars. Drafts don't count toward this limit, and unpublishing a webinar frees up a slot right away.
  • Business accounts have no limit on the number of on-demand webinars they can publish.
  • There's no limit on the number of registrants or viewers for an on-demand webinar.
  • Your on-demand webinar is hosted on a Riverside-generated URL. If you have a Business account, you can also embed it on your own website using a script-based snippet that includes the registration form and video player, and updates automatically if you edit the webinar later.
  • Returning viewers who registered with the same email address are recognized automatically and go straight to the content page without re-registering. 
  • The title on the Landing page tab and the title on the Registration form tab are independent. Updating one does not update the other.
  • Riverside doesn't send registration or reminder emails for on-demand webinars. 
  • When you replace the video, your webinar link, landing page, registration form, registrants, CRM sync, and stats stay the same.
