Riverside automatically emails your audience when you cancel or reschedule a webinar, so everyone has the latest details.
Cancelled webinar
When you cancel (delete) a webinar, every registrant gets a cancellation email. The email includes a calendar file that removes the event from their calendar when opened. Riverside also cancels any upcoming reminder emails for that webinar.
- Cancellation emails send only when Registration confirmation emails are on for the webinar.
Cancelled session in a webinar series
When you cancel 1 session in a series, the email states that only that session is cancelled. It lists the registrant's remaining sessions and includes an updated calendar invite that removes only the cancelled session.
Rescheduled webinar
When you change the date or time, guests, producers, and registrants get an email with the updated details. Any email that already went out is sent again based on the new schedule.
