Webinar: Promote your webinar on social media

Promote your webinar with a ready-to-publish social post for every platform, complete with your thumbnail and a trackable registration link.

You can only create a social post once you have already scheduled a webinar session in your planner.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Planner.
  4. On the calendar, find the webinar you want to promote and click on it to open the event details panel.
  5. In the bottom right corner, click Manage webinar.
    The Webinar Overview opens.
  6. Scroll down to Promote and on the right hand side, click Share on social.
    The Create post panel opens with a pre-written caption and image for your post.
  7. To post to multiple social media platforms:
    1. Click the plus.svg plus icon under Platforms to connect a new account.
      Every connected account is selected by default.
    2. Select a platform and follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.
      Repeat for every account you want to connect.
  8. To exclude an account from your post:
    1. Under Platforms click the drop down next to the account.
    2. Select Exclude from post.

  9. Under Platforms, switch between platform tabs to set the content for each one.
    Each platform has its own guidelines for scheduling a post.
  10. In the bottom right corner click Publish [X] posts to publish your post immediately.
    Or, click Schedule to schedule the time and date of your post.

  • If a registration link is set when creating the webinar, the social posts will include the link for people to register through.
  • You can see which platform each registrant was referred from in the Audience tab on the webinar's overview. Registrants who signed up or used the direct link from a social media post show up with their source in the Referrer column.
  • YouTube and TikTok aren't included, since posting there requires a video.
