Customize your registration form to control what information you collect from your audience and how your webinar sign-up page looks.

Customize audience registration form

Customize content

Available for webinars with pre-registration.

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Planner.
  1. On the calendar, find the scheduled webinar and click it to open the event summary.
  2. In the bottom right corner, click Manage webinar.
    The Webinar Overview opens. 
  3. Under Custom registration form, click Customize.
  4. Click Add field to add additional fields for registrants to fill out.
    The fields for first name, last name, and email address are always required.
  5. Select from the following field types: phone number, country, single selection, text, or checkbox.

    • Add a phone number field 

      1. Select phone.svg Phone number.
      2. Click

        [the three dots].

      3. To the right of Required field, toggle on toggle-on.svg  to make this field mandatory.
      4. To remove the field, click trash.svg Remove.
    • Add a country field 

      1. Select Icon.svg Country.
      2. Click

         •••  

        [the three dots].

      3. To the right of Required field, toggle on toggle-on.svg to make this field mandatory.
      4. To remove the field, click trash.svg Remove.
    • Add a single selection field

      1. Select select.svg Single-selection field
      2. Enter your question.
      3. Add up to 10 predefined answers.

        Your audience can select one answer.

      4. You can change the order of the predefined answers by clicking and dragging the Icon (2).svg handler icon.
      5. To the right of Required field, toggle on toggle-on.svg to make this field mandatory.
      6. Click Save.
      7. To remove the field, click •••  [the three dots] and then click trash.svg Remove.
      8. To edit the field, click •••  [the three dots] and then click edit-2.svg Edit field.
    • Add a text field 

      1. Select text-input.svg Text field.
      2. Enter your question. 
        Your audience can reply in up to 250 characters.
         
      3. To the right of Required field, toggle on toggle-on.svg to make this field mandatory.
         
      4. Click Save.
      5. To remove the field, click •••  [the three dots] and then click trash.svg Remove.
      6. To edit the field, click •••  [the three dots] and then click edit-2.svg Edit field.

    • Add a checkbox field

      1. Select check-square.svg Checkbox field.
      2. Enter your question.
        Your audience can check or uncheck the boxes to respond.
      3. To the right of Required field, toggle on toggle-on.svg  to make this field mandatory.
      4. Click Save.
      5. To remove the field, click •••  [the three dots] and then click trash.svg Remove.
      6. To edit the field, click •••  [the three dots] and then click edit-2.svg Edit field.

         

  6. Change the order of the fields by clicking and dragging the Icon (2).svg handler icon.
    Click Preview in the top right corner to open your changes in a new window.
  7. Click Update changes

Customize branding

Available for all webinars.

  1. In the Registration tab, click Design
  2. Apply branding elements such as a logo, background, and accent color to your registration form.

    • Add logo

      The selected logo will appear at the top of the registration form and the confirmation page.

      1. Next to Add logo, click the plus.svg plus icon.
      2. In the file picker, choose a JPG or PNG image from your computer.
        We recommend a file that's at least 64 × 64 px with a 1:1 aspect ratio.
      3. To remove the logo, hover over it and click the X in the top-right corner.
    • Add background

      The selected image will appear as the background of the registration form and the confirmation page.

      1. Next to Add background, click the plus.svg plus icon.
      2. Select Image or Color.
      3. If choosing an image, click Upload
      4. In the file picker, choose a JPG or PNG image from your computer.
        We recommend a file that’s 1280 × 720 px or has a 16:9 aspect ratio.
      5. To choose a color, click the Color tab. 
      6. In the color picker, choose your color.
        Or in the Hex field, enter a specific Hex code.
      7. To remove the background color, hover over it and click the X in the top-right corner.
    • Add accent color

      The selected color will be applied as a design accent across the registration form and the confirmation page, including the main sign-up buttons.

      1. Next to accent color, click the rainbow color picker or the Hex field.
      2. In the color picker, choose your color.
        Or in the Hex field, enter a specific Hex code.
    • Remove Riverside logo

      Show or remove the Riverside logo from the top-left corner of the registration form.

      1. Next to Show Riverside logo, click the toggle to turn it off.
        When the toggle is off, the Riverside logo is hidden.

    Click Preview in the top right corner to open your changes in a new window.

  3. Click Update changes

  • When scheduling a webinar with pre-registration, you can customize both the form fields and branding. When using a direct session link, you can only customize the form’s branding.
  • Your customized settings are saved for the next event hosted in the same studio.
