Step by step

Prepare your Q&A material before the webinar

Before you go live, give the AI your talking points, slides, or notes so it can build a bank of anticipated questions and answers ahead of time.

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Planner.
  1. On the calendar, find the scheduled webinar and click it to open the event summary.
  2. In the bottom right corner, click Manage webinar.
    The Webinar Overview opens.
  3. Click the Q&A assistant tab.
  4. Click Add source.
  5. Choose how to add material: Upload files, Google Drive, or Paste text
You can add up to 10 sources, including slides, documents, links, or pasted text.
  6. To add typed notes, click Paste text, then enter your talking points, outline, or notes.
  7. Click Add
The source appears in your Sources list, checked by default.
  8. Repeat to add more sources, up to 10.
  9. Click Generate Q&A.
  10. Review the generated answer bank. The AI drafts questions your audience is likely to ask, each paired with an answer grounded in your sources. Edit any answer to sharpen accuracy or tone before the session.

Moderate Q&A live during the webinar

Once you're live, your AI assistant analyzes incoming questions, groups the duplicates, and can help you draft replies.

  1. Start the webinar as a host or producer.
  2. Open the Q&A panel.
  3. On a question, click Reply
  4. Click Draft with AI to generate a suggested reply grounded in your prepared answer bank and the live question.
  5. Edit the suggestion, send it to the audience member, or read it aloud.
If the answer isn't in your sources, the AI shows "Couldn't find the answer in your sources" instead of guessing.

  • The AI only answers from the sources you add. It never uses outside knowledge, and if your material doesn't cover a question, it says so instead of inventing an answer.
  • Your AI Assistant never sends or reads an answer on its own. Always review a suggestion before you send it.
  • If you haven't added any sources, the Draft with AI button doesn't appear.
