Step by step

  1. Join a studio session.
  2. If you're the host or producer start the session.
    Until the session starts, the Captions button is unavailable.
  3. In the toolbar at the bottom of the studio, click Captions.
    You first see Captions starting..., then Captions ready ✓. Captions appear on the stage as people speak.
  4. To move the captions, click and drag them anywhere on the stage.
  5. To hide the captions, click Captions again.

  • The Captions button only appears after a host or producer enables live captions for the studio.
  • Captions are available in English only.
  • Showing or hiding captions only changes your own screen.
  • Captions are not saved to your recording. To add captions to your video, use the editor.
  • Live captions show for all speech on the studio stage. Producers and media board audio aren't captioned.
  • Captions are AI-generated, so they may contain mistakes.
