Add transitions in the editor

Add a transition at the beginning or end of the timeline, or between scenes, to give your video a more professional look.

Step by step

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.

3. Hover over the beginning or end of the timeline, or between scenes.
4. Click the Transition icon.
5. From the Transition panel, select a transition. 
   Hover over any transition to preview it.
6. Under Duration, drag the scrubber to adjust the transition's duration, or manually enter an exact value.
   The transition is added to your timeline.

Edit a transition

1. Click the Transition icon.

2. Select a new transition or adjust its duration.

Remove a transition

1. Click the Transition icon.

2. In the Transition panel, select None.
