Use Co-Creator on the project page to help you turn recordings into promotional assets in just a few clicks. Generate short clips, blog posts, thumbnails, and descriptions to repurpose your content for maximum impact across platforms.

Step by step

  • Using a computer

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. From the top left corner, click Ask Co-Creator.
    5. Select one of the ready-made asset templates, or click All suggestions to view more options. 
      The template appears in the Co-Creator's chat box.
    6. In the chat box, click the chevron.down@15x.png Arrow to open the topic list.
    7. Select the topic you want to focus on.
    8. To create an asset based on a specific recording within the project, click Pick content and select the relevant recording, draft, Magic Clip, or Magic Episode.
    9. Click the Send button.svg Send button in the Co-Creator chat box.
      Your asset is generated and appears in the chat when ready.

  • Using a phone

    1. Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
    2. Tap the Projects tab.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. At the bottom of the screen, tap Ask Co-Creator.
    5. Select one of the ready-made asset templates, or tap Suggestions to view more options. 
      The template appears in the Co-Creator's chat box.
    6. Click the Send button.svg Send button in the Co-Creator chat box.
      Your asset is generated and appears in the chat when ready.

Generate thumbnails

Available on Live plan and up

Create platform-ready thumbnails based on the content of your recording. Co-Creator analyzes your transcript and video to highlight speakers, suggest a tagline, and generate a background that reflects your discussion.

  • Using a computer

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.

    4. At the top of the page, click Ask Co-Creator.

    5. In the Co-Creator chat box, click the Thumbnail suggestion.

      • Or type a custom prompt, such as Generate thumbnails for this project.

    6. Select which style thumbnail you want.

    7. Select a title.

    8. Wait for Co-Creator to generate thumbnails.

    9. Click a thumbnail to download it.

    10. To refine a thumbnail, type a follow-up prompt to adjust specific elements, such as:

      • Face expression

      • Background

      • Text size or color

      • Highlighting or emphasis

  • Using a phone

    1. Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
    2. Tap the Projects tab.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. At the bottom of the screen, tap Ask Co-Creator.

    5. Tap Thumbnail.

      • Or type a custom prompt, such as Generate thumbnails for this project.

    6. Wait for Co-Creator to generate thumbnails.

    7. To refine a thumbnail, type a follow-up prompt to adjust specific elements, such as:

      • Face expression

      • Background

      • Text size or color

      • Highlighting or emphasis

Icon.svg Good to know

  • Video assets generated with Co-Creator can be added to your project and appear under Edits, or opened directly in the editor for further customization.
  • If you are on a Pro plan or up, your preferences are applied when you generate clips.
  • If a project contains multiple recordings, thumbnails are generated using content from all recordings, unless you click Pick content at the bottom of Co-Creator and choose a specific recording, draft, or Magic Episode.
  • To clear the chat, click the eraser.svg eraser icon in the top right corner.
  • Thumbnails cannot be generated for:
    • Audio-only recordings
    • Diarized videos
    • Recordings without a transcript
    • Recordings where no single clear face is detected
    • Archived recordings
