To perform graphics-heavy tasks, such as using virtual backgrounds, previewing videos, using the editor, and more, make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser settings.
Turning hardware acceleration on allows your browser to use your computer’s graphics processor, resulting in smoother visuals, better performance, and a more reliable experience.
Step by step
Follow the steps below to change the setting in Google Chrome or Edge. (The settings is sometimes labeled as Hardware acceleration.)
Please note that as of macOS Catalina, users are no longer able to turn hardware acceleration on and off in Safari.

Using the same computer, copy and paste this link into a new tab in your browser's address bar:
chrome://settings/system - Press Enter to open its settings System page.
- Under System, click the toggle next to Use graphics acceleration when available to turn it on or off.
- Change the graphics acceleration option from whichever state it was in during the error.
Generally, it should be enabled for the editor.

- Click Relaunch or Restart.
Your browser closes all pages and applies the new setting. - Reopen the studio page or editor to check if the error is resolved.
