Follow these steps when:
- Processing failed for uploaded media.
- You are unable to upload files or share recordings.
- You see the following error messages in the editor:
- "You've reached the max amount of files you can upload. Remove one to add a new file."
- "An error occurred, please try again later."
Likely causes:
Being unable to upload files to the editor could be a result of an unverified email account, an unsupported file type, or hitting the maximum upload limit.
Suggested troubleshooting steps
- Verify your Riverside email:
- Check your email for a message from notifications@riverside.fm with the subject Verify your new email address:
- Open the email and click Verify email address.
- Ensure the file you’re trying to upload is in a supported format.
- When you upload media files directly to the editor, you can add up to 20 files of 100 MB each to the Your media folder. To add more than 20 files to an edit, upload the new media to your studio dashboard. Then, add that media to the timeline by selecting Recordings.
