Edit your audio-only recording in Riverside to trim, add music or intros, and apply AI-powered tools to improve the quality.

Editing an audio-only recording on a computer
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- From the editor toolbar, you can:
- Trim sections of audio
- Correct or remove a section of the recording from the transcript
- AudioDub to correct a word in the transcript and audio automatically adjusts to align
- Use AI tools to:
- Add a music overlay
- Insert music
- In the top right corner, click Export.
- Under Audio quality, select the file type to export: WAV HD audio or compressed MP3 audio.
- Toggle Normalize audio levels (optional).
- Click Export.
After the audio file processes, download it from the recording's page.
After opening a draft Magic Clip, use steps 5-7 above to make it audio-only.

Editing an audio-only recording on a phone
- Download and open the Riverside mobile app.
- Open an audio-only recording or upload an external file to start editing.
- From the editor toolbar, you can:
- In the top right corner, click
Export.
- Under Audio quality, select the file type to export: WAV HD audio or compressed MP3 audio.
- Toggle Normalize audio levels (optional).
- Click Export Audio.
After the audio file processes, download it from the recording's page.

Create an audio-only edit from a recording with video.
- You can change a studio's recording mode on its settings page if you want to only record audio. You and your participants will still see each other during the live call.
